Dress Those Walls: Wood Grain Painting

Thanks for joining me again for my Dress Those Walls Series. If you missed any of the other posts, be sure to take a look.

On to today’s project:

I had one lone, blank purple canvas left and i was really itching to add something to it.

For awhile now, wood grain has been on my mind and I knew I wanted to try my hand at it.

So I got to work tracing out a pattern in pencil onto my canvas.

I then I slowly went over the lines with a paintbrush. In hind sight, a paint pen would have been soooo much easier and given a cleaner line.

Overall, I can’t say I’m in love with it…
